Treatment Should Fit Your Budget

At Dietrich Orthodontics, our mission is to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget.

Your treatment fees are dependent on many factors, including the difficulty of treatment and the time we need to give you the confident smile you deserve.

Payment Plan Options

We believe everyone in Stark County should have access to confident smiles. We offer many different payment options to fit any family’s budget.

If you’re able to pay for your full treatment upfront, we’re happy to offer a discount.

If you opt for a payment plan, we do require a down payment before your bonding appointment. If the payment amount present won’t work for you, we’ll do our best to work something out.

Please let us know which payment option you choose or if you’d like to work out a different option.

After your down payment, you’ll pay a monthly bill. We’ll do everything we can to make sure this payment fits your budget.

Billing Procedure

Emailed statements are available on request.

We offer a 10-day grace period before a $25 late fee is applied to all past due accounts.

Payment Types

We accept checks, cash, money orders, and Visa, MasterCard, or Discover cards.

You can make a payment during business hours or drop payments into our secure mailbox.

If you mail a payment, please include the patient account and/or name on your check, so we credit the correct account.

Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flex Spending Accounts

We’re happy to accept your HSA and Flex spending accounts. If you’re paying with an HSA or Flex debit card, it must be Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.

If you use one of these cards for your automatic payment monthly and your account doesn’t process, we’ll call you for a new form of payment.

If it doesn’t process for three consecutive months, we require a new form of payment and may potentially suspend active treatment until the account is brought current.

Automatic Payment Options

Don’t want to forget your payment? Want to avoid late fees?

We can automatically withdraw your payment from your checking account, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card.

Call or visit our offices in Alliance or Canton to set this up.

Your Family’s Orthodontic Care Is Important to Us

We’re honored whenever we get to treat multiple family members at Dietrich Orthodontics.

After one family member has started their orthodontic treatment with us, every additional member receives a 5% discount.

*This applies only to your immediate family members.

Insurance Coverage and Billing

We are happy to provide the courtesy of billing your insurance companies for you and accepting the assignment of those insurance payments.

Below you’ll find information regarding insurance benefits for orthodontic treatment, as well as information on how our office will bill and receive benefits from insurance companies. Please read this information thoroughly.

We want to make sure you get all you can from your insurance benefit!

Delta Dental no longer allows our office to accept the assignment of orthodontic payments. After we bill for services, the payment will be sent to the subscriber.

How Orthodontic Coverage is Billed

Orthodontic treatment is billed to insurance companies in installments. We bill an initial fee when your braces are placed, then monthly claims throughout your treatment.

Your insurance company pays based on the terms of your plan until you’ve met your coverage limit. Anything beyond the coverage limit is your responsibility.

Changes in Insurance

If you have a change in your insurance, including termination of your policy, addition of a policy or any other changes to a policy, please notify us right away. We’ll verify your new benefits for you and let you know how it may change your account.

You’ll be responsible for any additional payment necessary each month. We will credit any insurance payments to your account and if you’re left with a credit balance at the end of treatment we’ll refund that to you.

Secondary Insurance

We’re happy to file and accept benefit assignment for secondary dental insurance policies that have orthodontic coverage.

The secondary insurance company will coordinate with your primary insurance company and adjudicate the claim.
